We partner with numerous companies to give back to our community.

The Chain Reaction organization works with churches, schools, local communities, police agencies and MAM to receive donated bikes and parts, then distribute working bikes of all sizes and descriptions to folks in need (transportation to work, children, etc.).

MAM was organized in 1982 by 14 starter churches in the Spring Branch area including MDCC/ODCC.  Almost all area churches now contribute volunteers and resources for their programs.  It has grown to include a retail store, warehouse, computer training, job search help, citizenship aid, ESL classes, rent assistance, disaster recovery (Harvey, Watson), homeless/low income assistance, blanket drives, Christmas toys, and school uniforms.

ESBFB serves 4 zip codes in the Spring Branch area from the Holy Cross Lutheran Church (Westview and Wirt).  Volunteers come from neighborhood families and churches in the area.  Money donations, food items, and personal care items from families, churches and some retail stores, are received and distributed to families needing assistance.
